At AP Lohmann General Contracting~Fine Carpentry, we had the privilege of working on the pilot house and dog house of the USS Olympia. The pilot house (or bridge) of the USS Olympia is a key area on the ship, particularly in the context of its historic role in naval service. The USS Olympia (C-6) is a protected cruiser that was commissioned in 1895 and is most famous for its role as the flagship of Admiral George Dewey during the Battle of Manila Bay in the Spanish-American War. It was a privilege and honor to be apart of preserving the history of this ship.
