Historic Window Restoration NJ Project

Historic Window Restoration – New Jersey Project

We recently completed a full historic window restoration project on a 19th-century Victorian home in Wenonah, New Jersey. The windows, many of which were original to the home, had suffered from decades of wear, rot, and damaged glazing. Instead of replacing them, the homeowner wanted to preserve the architectural details that gave the property its unique character.

Our team carefully removed each sash, repaired deteriorated wood with traditional methods, replaced broken glass with historically accurate panes, and restored all the original hardware. We also weatherstripped and rebalanced each window to ensure smooth operation and energy efficiency, while maintaining historical integrity.

The result was a seamless blend of old-world craftsmanship and modern functionality, helping to preserve a piece of New Jersey’s architectural heritage.
